Transformation 7

$160.00

This original colorful monoprint is an expression of my own symbolic impressions of the primal forces of nature, and the unseen energies that flow through us all. I always begin with only the three primary colors, from which all the others can be made, symbolizing that delicate balance of forces in nature that allows nurturing and growth. It gives me the feeling that the universe is in a constant process of creation, and is unfolding in the way it was meant to. Looking at it fills me with a sense of peace and hope. I think it would bring this mood to any room in your home.

This original colorful monoprint is an expression of my own symbolic impressions of the primal forces of nature, and the unseen energies that flow through us all. At the universe's first moments, there existed the potential for everything that will ever be. It's just a complicated way of saying that everything in the universe is part of everything else. It's all one, a unified whole.

Transformation 7 combines a feeling of the openness of space with plant forms attached to the figure a fetus. To me, this suggests a connection between humanity and the beginning the universe. To further emphasize the idea that everything is one, the fetus has butterfly wings. Traditionally, butterflies symbolize the spirit world or the soul.

The monoprint elements have been embellished with other media such as colored pencils and watercolor crayons. The colors are a balance of the three primary colors - red, yellow, and blue, from which all the others can be made, symbolizing that delicate balance of forces in nature that allows nurturing and growth. It gives me a feeling that the universe is in a constant process of creation, and is unfolding in the way that it was meant to. Looking at it fills me with a sense of peace and hope. I think it would bring these feelings to any room in your home.
